Yeah just a couple miles from LAX. It is very small and cozy but super popular bc it just seems to have some of the best relaxed beachfront style of life energy. It is also very visually beautiful with mode walking streets so perhaps that is part of where the sparkly comes from.
Oh yeah, if you get a chance take a drive just north through the Pacific Palisades to Malibu. It's got palaces like Beverly Hill but more beautiful imo, bc on the coast.
Indeed endless possibilities should time permit, but obviously focus on the opportunity. Just take no offense when people are superficial. It's normal. LA is one of the superficial capitols of the universe, but fun once you move past it.

I’ll be in the area from the evening of the 13th through the morning of the 17th for my son’s wedding. A lot of cosmic forces concentrating in the LA region 🧐. Do you think it may have something to do with what may be a new force? The force of the Lorraine?🎇🎆♊️. Hummm ♐️♐️♊️
I worked in that area for many years. It’s a great place to visit and hang out. Lots of great restaurants, things to see and people watch! Have fun, the weather should be fantastic.
