In the latest episode of “As The GA Peach Turns,” Fanis Willis brought the kind of receipts that will have her opposition scurrying and The Great Orange Doofus furious. What kind, you may ask? The kind that stops all the “she had an inappropriate quid-pro-quo relationship” blather in its tracks.
The Skinny
In an article called “This Should End the Matter,” by Rawstory, we learn Miss-Willis-if-you’re-nasty gave the middle finger to Mike Roman, his slimy attorney, Trump, and the entire Trump Cabal! Forget the popcorn—it is pink champagne and Oyster’s Rocker-fellah time (and I know I don't drink; just stay with the visual!)
"This should end the matter," said legal expert Ryan Goodman. He noted that he has been critical of Willis and the member of her team, called Nathan Wade.
"No relationship before or when hired by DA," Goodman added. "Shared costs equally."
Legal analyst Katie Phang also noted that the affidavit indicates Wade has been a lawyer since 1999 and that he had to "resign from his three judicial appointments" to take on the Trump case.
The Guardian's Hugo Lowell also chimed in on the development, saying the case for dismissing Willis is a tough one.
"Hard to make case that Fulton County DA Fani Willis should be disqualified after affidavit submitted by Nathan Wade — they shared travel expenses, meaning there was no burden only on Wade, any travel was paid w personal funds, and no Trump RICO case income was shared," the reporter said.
BOOM SHAKALAKA, BABY!
But wait —there’s more!
Lowell added, "The question now is prob whether Judge McAfee will use the standard of 'appearance of impropriety' — which doesn’t seem to be met either, at this point — like McBurney did when Willis was previously DQ’d. But denial of the DQ motion could be appealed, which would add delay."
Law professor Randall Eliason hailed Willis' response to the bid to oust her, but still said she made a "strategic error."
"DA Fani Willis has filed a strong opposition to the motion to disqualify," the expert said Friday. "But it was a strategic error to stay silent and let the allegations fester in the media for nearly a month instead of making a strong statement including these points right after it was filed."
Damn—they still had to say something negative.
Look, it was a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario. What would they have said if she had released a statement on day one?
You guessed it!
Fani would have been accused of being emotional and reactionary.
It was prudent to watch, wait, and let the saga play out a bit; that way, when she slammed her cards on the table, the collective jump by her opponents would be made all the more gratifying.
Besides, she really had to see what their entire play was before gathering what she needed to tear them apart, and boy, did she evah!
But wait—there’s still MORE!
Fani took her designer high heels, earrings, and eyelashes off for this one—I ain’t hating—shoot, I love a good day at the spa myself!
It seems Mike Roman’s lawyer, Ashley Merchant, campaigned for Nathan Wade in 2016, where she maintained that he was “ethical and experienced.” Merchant also noted that Nathan Wade was a public servant, a prosecutor, and an associate municipal judge.
Watch the video below with Michael Popok if you want to see Merchant’s own words in this regard—the woman is disgusting.
Key takeaways:
Fani Willis and Nathan Wade’s relationship started AFTER the grand jury reached their decision.
Fani and Wade split the costs when they went on dates and vacations—and they used their own money.
Ashley Merchant is a lying tool who isn’t afraid to use racist stereotypes and tropes against a man she claimed to have once admired.
Some people on the defense side are in relationships and have clients testifying against each other, as noted in Fani Willis’ reply filing.
You wouldn't know these facts if you relied solely on MSM reporting; in fact, when I searched “Ashley Merchant campaigned for Nathan Wade,” all I got were headlines about the romance. Indeed, most articles primarily focus on the admission of Fani and Wade’s relationship (who cares), not on details that are most likely going to get this shit laughed out of court.
The only place you find that nugget is in the MTN video above—hence why they are my go-to.
The doomed Hail Mary pass by Ashley Merchant and Mike Roman will fail spectacularly and show you how desperate Trump Co. is. At best, this is a delay tactic and, at worst, a racist campaign to prejudice a potential jury. But this is Fulton County—their tactics will likely backfire, bigly.
They got nothing; they are guilty as sin—and it shows.
Hey! GREAT piece here that needs to be shared far and wide! You did all the homework lady and we’re grateful! Fani is a hero and will prevail! She has to!! ✌️
BOOM SHAKALAKA, BABY! 🤩🤩🤩
